Erectile Dysfunction

Treatments

What is Erectile Dysfunction?

Erectile Dysfunction is a condition in which a man is incapable of keeping an erection firm during sexual intercourse. It can be caused due several reasons like low confidence, stress, relationship strain, depression or anxiety, etc. It can also be caused due to some physical issues, including cardiological diseases, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, obesity, smoking, etc.

What is needed?

A physical exam and answering questions (medical history) are all needed for a doctor to diagnose erectile dysfunction and recommend a treatment.

I think we all know by now what the term ED stands for. Erectile Dysfunction is the condition where a man is unable to achieve or maintain an erection for successful sex.

We can dispense ED medications at our office or write prescriptions.

Or if you prefer a non-medicinal approach?

We also can employ modalities such as “PiezoWave2” – a pulse wave of sound to improve the blood supply and encourage new growth of microvasculature and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections (we numb first!) developed from your own blood. This combination can also contribute to new vessel growth and nerve regeneration, restoring erectile function. Piezo Wave is the first-line therapy in Europe for ED.

PiezoWave2

Shockwave therapy focused, linear, planar

Unique, new, and improved features characterize the next generation of piezo shockwave devices from Richard Wolf and ELvation® Medical. Based on piezo single and double surface technology, a worldwide-unique and exclusive, optional variation of the therapy sources is achieved.

The current development of a linear focusing shockwave therapy source is unique worldwide. Compared to conventional, point-focused shockwaves, a much more homogeneous and effective application is possible.

The piezoelectric shockwave principle allows a unique variability of the shockwave modulation. With this mobile therapy unit, you can optionally choose between the classic point-focused, the linear-focused shockwave, and the planar shockwave.

The focused piezo shockwave, with its unique properties, is one of today’s best-selling shockwave systems worldwide. Consequently, we have consistently worked on further developments and innovations that enable new and extended application areas. In this regard, we have paid particular attention to developing different focus zones in size/volume, thickness, and penetration depth.

For example, on the basis of single and double-layer piezo technologies, we have developed unique linear focusing therapy sources that allow a significantly larger treatment volume.

ESWT in the field of urology

Linear focusing piezo shockwave for the treatment of vascular erectile dysfunction. This procedure was developed under the name LSTC-ED (Linear Shockwave Tissue Coverage – Erectile Dysfunction).

Shockwaves have shown excellent results in treating vascular erectile dysfunction (ED). A functional improvement was demonstrated 6 months after treatment and proves the long-term effect of LSTC-ED treatment.

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy in Urology

ESWT and ED

Linear-focused piezo shockwaves to treat vascular erectile dysfunction.

For the first time, linear focused shockwaves and the practical piezo therapy source made it possible to treat the entire corpus cavernosum quickly and comprehensively.

This guarantees a maximum uniform energy output. Treatment is completed within just a few minutes. The procedure is referred to as LSTC-ED (linear shockwave tissue coverage – erectile dysfunction).

ESWT in wound treatment

Compared to conventional, point-focused shockwaves, with the linear focusing shockwave in wound healing therapy, a much more homogeneous and effective application is made possible.
